FREEDOM SONG BY UNIP ZAMBIA WORKERS OF CHIENGE DURING CHA CHA CHA, 1962
Mwebantu fumyeni umwenso mu mitima yenu
            Mwe bana ba Zambia,
Culileni calo cenu
Ukusansa muka ekwa linga kuli fwe  bene mpanga
            Abeni ba leya

Ifwe nifwe ba UNIP

Tulelesha abanabo ukupunda freedom.

(The Freedom Song as sung to me by my now late Father Damson Katele alias “Polopotwe”,(MHSRP). a freedom fighter, 29th March 2012 sung in 2 B key) This was their Cha Cha Cha Song. This year of Golden Jubilee, Can my Music fraternity do justice to it, arrange and score which ever wayand sing aloud in whichever Language?)Chandwe Musonda Road in Lusaka’s Villa Elizabetha is named after the hero referred to here who was killed during Cha Cha CHa

Literal Translationin English

People of Zambia
Be not afraid
Conquer your fear in your hearts
Suffer for your motherland
Because joy befits us the owners of  our land
Stranger please go
Waste no time
Yours is over now
We also say
Informers pack up
With your masters go

WE are the UNIP
The Strong who fight for independence
Our Chandwe Musonda
Forget not your gallant people
With whom you are beaten
The traditional Chiefs say
WE struggle not for country
Only for the  money
And you see their Chief retainers
With force they try to stop us sing the freedom song
KAKA
